Thursday Newcomer Lessons<\/strong>: Hey Newcomers! We are expanding your Thursday lesson times from 9-10pm to 9-11pm. Enjoy the extra hour of learning starting this Thursday!<\/p>\n

Ballroom Buddies: <\/strong>Here<\/a> are the ballroom buddies pairings! Thanks to everyone who signed up, we hope you enjoy meeting with your new team buddy. Returning team member buddies, please reach out to your new team buddy by end of day on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Committees Application:<\/strong>\u00a0Apply to be a part of one of our team’s committees! We have three different committees you can choose to be a part of: Social, Away Competitions and MichComp (our home competition.) Apply here<\/a>, all members eligible and encouraged to take a leadership role on our team!\u00a0Plus it’s a great opportunity to get to know your fellow members. Please submit your application by Wednesday, 10\/12. Reach out to the board with questions at ballroom-exec@umich.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Apparel<\/strong>: Rep the UMBDT!! Apparel is now available for purchase on our website through October 11th. Check out this semester’s offerings here<\/a> and email our PR Chair, Neil Sykes, at neilps@umich.edu<\/a> with any questions.<\/p>\n

Purdue\u00a0Rooms and Rides<\/strong>: GET PUMPED FOR THE FIRST MAJOR COMPETITION OF THE SEMESTER!! The Purdue Comp is right around the corner and will take place on October 22nd this year. There is a possibility that this may be the only comp before the Ohio Star Ball, so all of you should try and make it out. That includes you newcomers!! You do not need a partner to sign up and we will make sure to teach you what you need so that you feel prepared for your first competition :)\u00a0Here<\/a>\u00a0is the Rooms and Rides sign up, please fill out the Google form by midnight this Friday<\/em> if you plan on attending. Let’s go beat the Boilermakers!<\/p>\n
