Good Evening Team!<\/p>\n

Hope you have all had a restful, rejuvenating break filled with cherished time with loved ones and delectable\u00a0dishes! We are heading into the final weeks of the semester and the first week of December (where has the time gone?!) so let’s make the most of the little time we have left together this term. Check out what the UMBDT has in store for you this week:<\/p>\n

Team Lost and Found<\/strong>: If you lost something during OSB or one of the competitions this semester, you can likely find it in our team office space in the Union room 4344. Stop by Office Hours this week to reclaim your missing item!<\/p>\n

Exec Board Mailboxes:<\/strong> While you are in our office checking out the beautiful pictures and reclaiming your lost items, leave an encouragement note for a board member\u00a0with their new envelope mailboxes! You can also use this for feedback if you would like – just remember to keep it respectful and supportive.<\/p>\n

New Rounds Format at DTS<\/strong>:\u00a0This semester we have been trying out regular rounds at DTS, and\u00a0are planning on continuing it based on the positive feedback we have\u00a0received. However, in order to not have it take up the majority of the practice time, we are going to be tweaking it slightly so that we only have standard rounds Mondays and Tuesdays and only Latin rounds Wednesdays and Thursdays. All rounds will start promptly on Michigan time, so please get to DTS right on time in order to participate!<\/p>\n

\"GingerbreadGingerbread House Decorating<\/strong>: This Friday, we will be doing some team bonding getting into the holiday spirit by decorating gingerbread houses!! Work on your bedazzling skills on these edible treats, 7-9pm in Mason Hall room 3437. Please RSVP here<\/a> by Thursday at noon if you will be coming for any part of the night to make sure we have enough supplies.<\/p>\n

End of Semester (EOS) Party<\/strong>:\u00a0As we near the end of the semester it’s time for us to celebrate all of our hard work with one last party! Save the date of December 10th<\/span><\/span> for EOS! It will be at the Northwood IV Community Center from 7-10 PM<\/span><\/span>. As always it will be a potluck style dinner, so please sign up to bring something. In order to get in, you need to have paid your semester balance and have a dish to pass, so please make sure to do both!\u00a0Additionally, we have so many people on our team with talents outside of ballroom, so take this chance to showcase yourself in our annual\u00a0talent show! Sign up using the form below by\u00a0Tuesday, December 6th<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Arnold Dancesport Competition<\/strong>: Love OSB and begging for more? Want to experience Arnold Schwarzenegger encouraging you in your ballroom career? Save the date for one of the biggest competitions of second semester, The Arnold Dancesport Classic, on March 4-5th! It will be hosted in the same location as OSB and is an incredible two day comp you won’t want to miss.\u00a0The catch – it\u00a0takes place during spring break, so make sure you factor Arnold into your spring break plans!<\/div>\n
