Here&#8217;s this week&#8217;s announcements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><strong>Last week to sign up for MichComp!!! <\/strong><\/strong>It&#8217;s\u00a0T-minus 2 weeks \u2019till Michcomp!\u00a0The best competition of the year is coming up soon. Why is it the best? It\u2019s right here in town! Your friends and family can come watch! Mark Schlissel is going to come dance newcomer quickstep! Okay maybe only 2\/3 of those things are true, but you\u2019ll have to register and come to find out which ones&#8230;<strong>Early registration closes on Friday<\/strong>, so make sure you <strong>register and pay the team<\/strong>\u00a0before then to avoid the late registration fee. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michiganballroomteam.com\/michcomp19\/\">Here&#8217;s the link for registration<\/a> :)<\/li>\n<li><strong>More MichComp things:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Shoutouts: <\/strong>Every year we have a program at MichComp\u00a0which contains shout-outs! These\u00a0can be purchased by family, friends and team members to show appreciation for someone and can include a photo, text or a mix of the two.\u00a0Shoutouts aren\u2019t just for parents to display your embarrassing baby photos \u2014 you can get one for your partner, your friend or your favourite graduating senior! You can purchase a shoutout in the MichComp program\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScp9yD3DfJaZfrCEdn7KcUCgHEzeoaY7fDBPXMDqsY92jUpqw\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Housing:\u00a0<\/strong>Throw your own ballroom slumber party by hosting dancers from other teams, and say thank you to teams who have hosted us throughout the year! We need a LOT of housing, so please volunteer even if you can host just one person. Sign up <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/ccAlpydYC0NDqbp02\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rides<\/strong>:\u00a0Pioneer&#8217;s closer than most comps, but you still won&#8217;t want to walk there at 7am on Saturday morning.
