Today S&amp;S taught the international Tango, Viennese Waltz, and Mambo. If you missed out, you can always go to guided practice on Thursday or DTS this week and ask an A team member. We are so close to the last stretch of dancing for this semester and we will be saying our goodbyes to those graduating soon :( Make sure to make the most of your time with us before the summer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Special Announcements for Everyone:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Sunday lesson:<\/strong> We understand that this upcoming Sunday is Easter and that many folks will be celebrating. However, we also want to recognize that not everyone celebrates Easter, so we will be hosting a lesson on Sunday. It may be a guided practice depending on how many people show up, but at least one A team member will be at the IMSB on Sunday from 3-5 pm. In addition, the Ballroom Club is hosting a lesson and open dance from 5-8 in the Union Ballroom if you want more practice before MichComp. <\/li><li><strong>EOS: <\/strong>This will be happening Friday, April 21st from 7:30-9:30 pm in North Quad 2435. There will be a potluck that will we be asking you all to sign up for (coming soon) as well as elections and our senior sendoffs! <\/li><li><strong>Northwestern:<\/strong> Look out for the Northwestern R&amp;R email from Amy on Monday! Drivers, please reach out to your car to arrange a time and place to leave. Good luck at the competition!<\/li><li><strong>MichComp:<\/strong> Please see Amy\u2019s email for Michcomp R&amp;R!! Consider volunteering to be a driver and\/or a host :) Here is everything you need to do by <strong>MONDAY, APRIL 3rd:<\/strong> R&amp;R and Volunteering Request Form, registration, and payment. You will be automatically entered into a raffle for two $50 MDen gift cards if you have all your forms submitted on time!!<\/li><li><strong>Elections for Board:<\/strong> I (Erika) sent an email on March 9th with the details on how to run for the board for next year. Please make sure you submit your platforms and photos by<strong> April 8th at 11:59 pm!<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Shout Outs:<\/strong> What is a shout-out? A shout-out is an encouraging note written by friends and family to team members, usually accompanied by a picture, that is printed in the Michcomp program! Shout-outs are a fun, easy way to support our dancers and the team during MichComp! It&#8217;s exciting for team members to find messages of support in the program and a good way for competitors to get to know you. And for family and friends, it&#8217;s an easy, relatively non-embarrassing way they can support you! ;) Get yours soon; there will be limited spot availability.
