I was so impressed by all you last weekend at the Arnold. Now that I&#8217;ve had a few days to recover it&#8217;s time to get back to our regularly scheduled waging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Announcements for Everyone:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Arnold Receipts:<\/strong> If you went to the Arnold and have a gas\/hotel\/parking receipt please send it to Owen (ohoffend@umich.edu) ASAP! Let&#8217;s try to make his life easy. <\/li><li><strong>MichComp Advertising:<\/strong> If you&#8217;re a member of a tryout team, we need you to fill out <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/Sj7VX1bs6zoqdVgr5\">this form<\/a> to help us get businesses to sponsor us for MichComp!<\/li><li><strong>Meet the C: <\/strong>Look on our socials (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/michiganballroom\/\">@michiganballroom<\/a>!) to learn more about the C team!<\/li><li><strong>Liability Waiver:<\/strong> We are now requiring all team members to sign <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSeanFnyddtsZcEUeENleySyyutH49lVxOccUqYw09VJwmiRrQ\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">this<\/a> liability waiver. His favorite dance is Latin Cha Cha, and he can type 176 words per minute on Monkeytype.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marin has been on the team for one semester, and is studying biopsychology, cognition, and neuroscience. She also has a minor in sales, and is currently a sophomore. She enjoys dancing International Rumba, but prefers watching Paso Doble. For Halloween, she dressed up as Jesse Pinkman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Nathaniel Hodgson and Nicolette Kleinhoffer<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"462\" height=\"616.3865300146413\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/pbLNj6J7jFKvRCVXtD7rRLifo4TGOnnjKD4r_p-lnamFKgF9f8D5MAb-uBRMjmjFYGLBhMD00tlWxKpbqgezjvx33h6_-97HybCcIPLA-T_5cN1biexP7cRiFxikiZDH3T7_NQrihMvY8Sh-7mDS9Dg\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nathaniel has been on the team for 3 semesters and enjoys dancing American Foxtrot. He is a senior studying chemical engineering. He didn&#8217;t take a single heel lead in the American Foxtrot in his first four months of competition (don\u2019t be like Nate)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nicolette is also a senior studying chemical engineering, and is currently in her fourth semester on the team. Her favorite dance is the International Foxtrot, and she currently has 870 separate documents on her phone\u2019s notes app dating back to June of 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Freddy Quarshie and Abby Hess<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"801\" src=\"https:\/\/www.michiganballroomteam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-600x801.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5449\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.michiganballroomteam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-600x801.png 600w, https:\/\/www.michiganballroomteam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image-300x401.png 300w, https:\/\/www.michiganballroomteam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image.png 752w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Freddy is a junior studying Statistics. This is his fourth semester on the team, and his favorite dance is the Samba. In 5th grade, he won the Geography Bee while wearing pajamas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abby is a senior in honors and actuarial math. She is also in her fourth semester on the team, and she enjoys dancing the Viennese Waltz. She has never once set foot in her high school\u2019s building.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Maxwell Chappell and Anna Vogel<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"437\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/nVgPpuEygVOchBCaIbd5fFpT_tz1FQSd8GAc6V6ndrZ-sFb9lBhDQzeEqUba6p55T6ZIw06lWOzxXAaqq4h-NY0XvbvjlcktfZYWo49CbxZ4Fwp4V-y9aJ3qX_qcFbvLPt4wFVIo0rE4ZeNocji6OcQ\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maxwell has been on the team for three semesters and is currently a graduate student in aerospace engineering. His favorite dance is Standard Viennese Waltz. He drove the campus buses part time when he was an undergrad, and he was also in a near fatal sailing accident (but he thinks that\u2019s not as interesting).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anna has also been on the team for three semesters. They are a senior studying molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. Their favorite dance is (thankfully) also Standard Viennese Waltz. Their favorite pre-competition activity is 2 miles of running, and then 2 hours of sleep.&nbsp; One of those is by choice, the other is not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Jacob Harrelson and Isa Cirulis<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/bC3RqkkNOg5GxTsM09BefvbtWA-3YmhgLKyWqhvealXVyvhxnCsi7p_aMDHY6910dI0zUXAqRdXzSBH-b0R5qZsTSfuuAPiqSex--DSV1lwGo8AyLITszSUj-3x4X2tGTyFX8D-d8URjM9tB91SIBfc\" style=\"width: 500px;\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jacob is a senior studying robotics, and is currently in his sixth semester on the team. He is the current president of the team, and his favorite dance is the Jive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Isa is an architecture student, and is in her third semester on the team. She is a senior, and is also finishing bachelor\u2019s degrees in German and Spanish. Her favorite dance is no-contact Bachata. Her blood type is O Negative, but don\u2019t ask her for some (that would be weird).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mike Reynolds and Marie Hayward<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"413\" height=\"538\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/2g5NaFJqxAajLfKiOP3NqiUCRSPLOdLhilncHJHSBzdzuuhBVjZr35xxIDWZzvEa5OrHMWFqoTVuuMDovlDlDcpP7dmF4yjbWKNKg3Hwy-uudAdsV5p0e1VESRQcev0WI9Dr_zRR7yeWv90nmcHyAN4\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mike is a senior in mechanical engineering. This is his third semester on the team, and he loves dancing Latin Cha Cha. He has been skiing since he was two years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marie is a sophomore art and design student who is currently in her fourth semester on the team. Her favorite dance is Smooth Foxtrot. She recently learned how to knit, then immediately forgot how to do it a month later.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Johny Daniel and Emma Zink<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/xZ8E4WGj3Zfq8g3MwoenVB9z7Wo0nregrEi-H-b3MHC6vXg4GwJx0o132habaljomqANDPwGN6cNwtar8w_8rPqlw5AJ4i8wZHYVsIy6C6ewa4U6yfvQcCqzv20fz9WTYu8KOP10EHJqaKRRRv2KM-g\" style=\"width: 500px;\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Johny is a senior studying electrical engineering and computer science. He loves it so much, he\u2019ll even Jive when he\u2019s drunk!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emma is in her fourth semester with the team. She is a sophomore studying public health, and her favorite dance is American Viennese Waltz.
