While summer definitely isn\u2019t over, we are looking around the corner to the start of the school year and have some things you should know so you can hit the ground running with the team this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>2026-2027 MBDT Board &#8211; <\/strong>As a reminder, here is our board. You can reach out to any of us about any issue that you have, we are here to support you.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>President: <\/strong>Penelope McGovern<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Curriculum Chair:<\/strong> Nathaniel Hodgson\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Treasurer: <\/strong>Owen Hoffend<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Away Competition Chair:<\/strong> Emily Ward<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Public Relations Chair: <\/strong>Jack Goudie<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Recruitment Chair: <\/strong>Chase Sirota<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Technology Chair: <\/strong>Jaxon Schraut<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Practice Space Coordinator: <\/strong>Ashley Wang<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Free Newcomer Lessons &#8211; <\/strong>We\u2019ll be having our free newcomer lessons at the same time, same place: Thursdays 9-11pm and Sundays 3-5pm in IMSB Multipurpose A. Be there or be square! Invite your friends &#8211; the free lessons start September 3rd and end September 24th.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tryouts &#8211; <\/strong>Tryouts will be held on 9\/20 from 3-5pm in the IMSB, during the normal newcomer time, with an additional warm-up time from 1-3pm in the same room.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fall Practice Spaces &#8211; <\/strong>We\u2019ve got a new schedule for practice space this year, see below.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Monday: Sports Coliseum, 9-11pm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tuesday: IMSB MPR A 9-11, DTS 9-11<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wednesday: DTS, 10-12pm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thursday: IMSB MPR A, 9-11pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Save the Date<\/strong><strong> &#8211; <\/strong>Thanks for competing with us this year.
