Hello team! Congratulations on your dancing accomplishments this weekend at Mich Comp! In the four Mich Comps I have been a part of, this year’s was the most efficient and well executed! Thank you to everyone for your assistance in set up and tear down, to our day-of volunteers who were running/typing/deck captaining, and of course to the fabulous *JOSH* for everything you did!
Some things going on this week:
- Mission + Values: As we continue with our team’s Mission and Values discussion, we invite you to share your stories about being on the team. Last week we had focus groups, and this form is another way to contribute your voice to the discussion. Everyone’s voice counts! Please contribute by Thursday night.
- Club Board:If you’re interested in running for Ballroom Club Board, please see the information here. This is a great way to get leadership experience and shape the ballroom community outside of just students.
- EOSP: End of Semester Party at the end of this week.
- Superlative voting closes Thursday
- Please sign up to bring something for the potluck.
- There’s still a few missing graduating members. Please fill out this google form ASAP, last chance.
- All dues must be paid off by End of Semester Party. Please do this before Thursday so Colleen can enjoy EOSP too. You will not receive a ballot unless your dues have been paid.

9:30pm – 11:30pm: Open Practice Space at DTS and Saharsh will be handing out apparel.
9pm – 11pm: Newcomer Review Lesson in CCRB 3275, reviewing American Foxtrot and Mambo
Tuesday 4/12
10pm – 12am: Open Practice Space at DTS and Saharsh will be handing out apparel.
Wednesday 4/13
9:30pm-11:30pm: Ballroom Clothing Swap at DTS! Essentially an open market for you to buy all gently used ballroom related things from older members. (So no open Practice Space at DTS). Saharsh will be handing out apparel as well.
9pm – 12am: Open Practice Space in CCRB 3275
Thursday 4/14
9:00pm – 10:00pm: Newcomer Lesson in CCRB 3275!
10:00pm – 12:00am: Open CCRB Practice Space
10:00pm – 12am: Last DTS. Sad. Saharsh will be handing out apparel 10:30 – 11:30!
12am: Form for sharing your stories and vision of our team closes. Superlative voting also closes.
12am: Dues paid to Colleen or payment plan figured out.
Friday 4/15
Get lunch with someone that’s graduating!
Saturday 4/16
7:00 pm: End of Semester Party, FB event here. Please sign up to bring something for the potluck. Please email Jiaxin if you cannot make it and need an absentee ballot.
11pm: After party at the Ballroom House
