Newcomer lessons are held every Sunday from 3:00-5:00 pm and Thursday from 9:00-11:00 pm throughout the Fall and Winter Semesters. These lessons are often taught by our world-class professional coaches, Steve and Susan McFerran.

Sports Coliseum (Sporc? Sporcol?)

Our practice space is available for paid members M/Tu/W/Th from 9:00-11:00 pm at the Sports Coliseum, located at 721 S 5th Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.

 

Ballroom Dance Club at the University of Michigan

Lessons	5:00 – 8:00 pm
Open Dance	8:00 – 10:00 pm

While our Michigan Ballroom Dance Team is restricted to university students, the Ballroom Dance Club at the University of Michigan is a social club available to the entire Ann Arbor community. By joining our team, you also get a free membership to the club. The club provides extra lessons and a weekly open dance on Sundays in one of the beautiful ballrooms on campus, at either the Michigan Union or the Michigan League. Open dance is a great opportunity to not only meet new friends, but to put everything you’ve learned in the team’s lessons into practice and dance with team members of all levels. Other Space

Team members are encouraged to seek out their own practice space, whether it be open rec spaces, racquetball courts, or even the hallways of your dorm! The IMSB Multi-Purpose Rooms rooms’ availability can be found here. As always, be respectful of others as well as your surroundings when using an area to practice.
