OSB is…
far away!! Get pumped!!! This Week at a Glance is packed with tons of helpful information for the week ahead to make sure you are all ready to go for the biggest comp of the semester.
Board Office Hours: Due to our new office space in the Union room 4344, the Executive Board will now be hosting weekly office hours where you can come hang out with one of our board members! Feel free to use this time to ask a board member questions about the upcoming competition, our team, or get to know us a little bit better. See the schedule below.
OSB Spray Tans: If you filled out the tanning interest form within the first hour of Week at a Glance last week, please fill out the form again here ASAP. We will likely be carpooling to the studio on Wednesday, I will reach out to individuals who expressed interest in the next day or two with more details. Thanks!
OSB Master Guide: If you are one of the 116 members of our team (!!!) attending the Ohio Star Ball this upcoming weekend, please read this Master Guide thoroughly and complete each step ASAP in order to be prepared for the competition. Don’t forget to pay your comp fee ($80) by midnight this Tuesday to our team!
OSB Videos: Sign up here to help with at least one time slot for recording video at the competition. Make sure you sign up during an event you are not dancing in, and please fill your name out by Thursday. If you put your name down during one of these times, it is your responsibility to check in and take over to record during those events. Those who sign up are the go to people, however, everyone should be checking in to see if they can help whenever available, as recording is a team-wide responsibility. Videos are so important for the growth of our dancing and our valuable to many of our members, so please take the time to help for the good of us all! There will be instructions posted on the tripod if it is your first time, so no excuses ;) Thanks!

For everyone going to OSB, please remember to cheer everyone on when you are not on the floor!! Our team excels when we are creating that supportive, fun environment encouraging each other both on and off the floor. The Ohio Star Ball was my very first competition and is always a highlight for all of our members because we get to bond while doing what we love, enjoy some team traditions such as Buca di Beppo, and get inspired watching the Professionals dance while getting all dolled up for the pro shows! I hope you all have a fantastic week ahead and cannot wait to be dancing or cheering alongside you in Columbus!
