Hi team,
Congratulations on making it to the end of classes for the semester, we’re so close to being done! Here’s the announcements for this week:
- It’s election time! Your candidates’ platforms for the 2019-2020 MBDT Executive Board can be found as an attachment to the WAG email. Please take the time to read through each of the platforms thoroughly before our End of Semester party (EOS) on Friday to be an informed voter! Have you ever spend hours writing an essay but feel like your professor didn’t bother to read it? Don’t be that person, read the platforms!
- Bring your charged phone/laptop to EOS: We’ll be doing voting electronically this year and you’ll need an internet-connected device to vote.
- Absentee ballot: If you can’t make it to EOS but want to vote in the elections, please email me (enabney@umich.edu) to request an absentee ballot. Deadline: Thursday April 25th @ 11.59pm
- End of Semester party: EOS will be this Friday, April 26th @ 7.30pm in 2435 North Quad, here’s some things you need to do before then:
- Dress to the Nines: The dress code for EOS is semi-formal, so men bust out that suit and tie and ladies bring out your best dress to celebrate the evening in 🙂
- $$$: In order to attend EOS and vote in the elections, you must be in good financial standing with the team! Plan on paying off your entire balance in order to attend. If you have questions about your balance please contact your wonderful soon-to-be-ex-treasurer Clara at cafarley@umich.edu
- Potluck: As well as paying your balance, you also need to bring a dish to pass to attend EOS! Please sign up with your dish here so we don’t end up with 100 of the same thing 🙂
- Senior Send-off: If you are graduating this semester, please fill out this form so that we can send you off in style! Deadline: Wednesday April 24th @ 11.59pm
- Superlatives! Who is the team’s biggest flirt? Most mismatched couple? Team MVP? Cast your vote here. Deadline: Thursday April 25th @ 11.59pm
- Year in Review: Share your favourite pictures from the past year of ballroom shenanigans by sending them to me (enabney@umich.edu) so I can include them in the Year in Review segment of EOS! Deadline: Thursday April 25th @ 11.59pm

Club is in the Vandenberg Room this week, check out their website here for more info. Club is also holding their board elections at 3.30pm in League Room C. If you would like to run for an open position or want to place your vote on a position, please attend this meeting!
