Hi Team,
Thank you to everyone who has come to our recruitment events this week! As always, it is aweseome to see everyone dancing together and welcoming our newcomers :)
Coming up this week…
- Showcases: Don’t forget to sign up if you are planning to showcase on Thursday Sep. 30th at the CCRB! Showcases are a great way to introduce our newcomers to how fun ballroom can be and show off your amazing dance moves :) If you are interested in doing a showcase on 9/30 please sign up using this form with info about what dances you are doing and don’t forget to fill out the intro form as well so that our wonderful recruitment chair Tiffany can properly introduce you!
- Recruitment: Our last recruitment events of the semester will be on Tuesday and Thursday this week from 9:00-11:00 pm in the CCRB! We would love to see lots of returning members at lesson this week to help recruit some more newcomers to the team as we finish up our free lessons :)
- Guys, Gals, and Pals Night: We will be having our welcome to the team event for all returning and new members this Saturday (10/2)!! Be on the lookout for an email from our recruitment chair Tiffany with more information later this week. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
- Steve and Susan Newcomer Lesson: Steve and Susan will be teaching at the CCRB again this sunday (10/3)! We love having returning team members at these lessons, so please drop by if you can!
- Teaching Reminders: Thank you to all of our wonderful teachers who have helped throughout recruitment! Please remember to check the teaching spreadsheet with what dates you will be teaching this semester. If you can please try to attend the S&S lesson in the week that you will be teaching so that you will know what moves were covered and be prepared to review with the newcomers during your lesson :)
- DTS: DTS is open to returning members! See the schedule below for the dates and times which practice space will be available this week. Please remember masks must be worn at all times at DTS and you must pay dues to use the practice space.
