Happy Halloween week! I hope everyone is ready for our fun and a spooOOooky events coming up this week:
- Ballroom Halloween Party: The team will be hosting our annual Halloween party this Saturday starting at 10 pm! Be on the lookout for an email from our amazing recruitment chair Tiffany with more information!
- Shoe Vending: Shoes will be available for pick-up on Wednesday at DTS and Thursday at the CCRB during newcomer lesson! If you are not able to make either of these dates or times to pick up your shoes please contact ballroom-exec@umich.edu to make alternative arragements :)
- Purdue Competition: Registration, Rooms and Rides and payment ($50 entry fee per person) are all due on Friday October 29th. Don’t make Liam hunt you down for payment – there will be a $10 late fee on any payments made after the deadline. Pay the team, do not pay on the competition website!!!

ROOMS AND RIDES (DUE Friday OCTOBER 29TH @ 11:59PM) - Join our team Facebook group! It’s the hub of our community where we post event reminders and announcements during the week, as well as lost and found items, partner searches and much, much more! Check it out here, and just hit request access. (if you’re having trouble joining the group please contact ballroom-exec@umich.edu and we’ll sort it out).
- Get hype for OSB, it’s only a month away! The Ohio Star Ball is coming up quickly (Nov 20th-21st) and it’s the most action packed, fun weekend of dancing and camaraderie you’ve ever seen. Ask some older team members for their favorite OSB stories and you’ll quickly discover why it’s the highlight of the semester! If you are interested in attending OSB (and you should be!), be on the lookout for the comp sign-up email coming soon!! Questions about OSB? Ask your lovely Away Comp Chair Lauren (molloylg)!
- Partner search: Check out the partner search document if you are still looking for someone to practice or attend competitions with this semester! Inviting someone to DTS or lesson is a great way to try out dancing together :)

- American Lesson Sign-Up: Please fill out this form if you are planning on attending any of our upcoming Silver or Bronze American lessons! All members of A and B team are welcome to participate in both Bronze and Silver lessons!
- Team Intro Form: A and B team members please fill out this team intro form ASAP if you have not already! 🙂
