Throwback to our last OSB!! Get hype for our return to Columbus this month!

I hope everyone had a fun Halloweekend! Read on for all things ballroom going on this week:
- Apparel: It’s time for ballroom apparel! Check out you PR chair Manasi’s (manasia) email about all of our offerings for the semester! You can view all our available listings on our apparel page. Apparel orders are due this Wednesay (11/3) by 11:59 pm!
- SAPAC Training: Our team will be participating in virtual SAPAC training on bystander intervention next Tuesday at 9:30 pm! This training is mandatory for all team members!! Be on the lookout for more information regarding the training from your PR Chair Manasi. If you are unnable to attend the SAPAC training please email Manasi (manasia@umich.edu) so that we can schedule a make-up opportunity.
- Ballroom buddies! Our team is so large and complicated, it can be confusing when you first join. With this in mind, we’ve developed a ballroom buddy scheme: if you are a new member of our team, you can sign up to be paired with a returning team member that has volunteered to help you feel welcome and answer any questions about competitions/looking for a partner/anything and everything ballroom related. Your buddy is not responsible for teaching you dance moves or meeting with you all day every day (unless you both want to), but rather serves as a point person and guide to the team. Sign up for both newcomers and returning team members can be found here and the deadline to sign up is next Tuesday (11/9) at 11.59pm! Questions about ballroom buddies? - Team Closet: Interested in borrowing from the team closet for Purdue or OSB? Check out our newly updated team closet document! This document has info on all things team closet, such as how to request to borrow something, how our borrowing process works, and most importantly pictures of all our avialable items :) If you have any team closet related questions reach out to our Recruitment Chair Tiffany (tiffle)!
- Get hype for OSB: The Ohio Star Ball is coming up quickly (Nov 20th-21st) and it’s the most action packed, fun weekend of dancing and camaraderie you’ve ever seen. If you are interested in attending OSB (and you should be!), be sure to sign-up for Rooms & Rides by 11/5 and Register for the Competition on O2CM by 11/11!! Don’t forget to check out Lauren’s email about all things OSB, including how to sign up on O2CM, all the fun things to do at the competition, and more! Still have questions about OSB? Ask your lovely Away Comp Chair Lauren (molloylg)!
- Join the Team GroupMe: Use this link to join our team GroupMe! The GroupMe is a great way to stay connect with the team, especially at big competitions like OSB so that we can provide live updates on everything going on throughout the day!
- Partner search: Check out the partner search document if you are still looking for someone to practice or attend competitions with this semester!
- Team Intros: There’s a lot of people on this team, to help you get to know everyone we’ve made a handy guide to who’s on which team, so you know who to cheer for at OSB! Check out B-team below! Newcomers, if you have questions about dancing look for folks who are instructors this semester to ask! Coming up in next week’s WAG: A-team intros :)
