Congratulations on an amazing return to OSB this year! Whether this was your first or final OSB, I am incredibly proud of everything which we were able to accomplish this weekend! I hope that everyone had an amazing time dancing, watching the pros, and hanging out with your teammates this weekend :)
Thank you to all of our amazing dancers who helped us to win points, everyone who spent time working the camera, the amazing cheering section which helped everyone to keep their energy up this weekend, and all the help everyone gave on and off the floor to help this weekend run smoothly in countless other ways!! Also, a special shout out to our fabulous Away Comp chair Lauren and the rest of the team board for all their hard work this semester to make this weekend a success!
If you had an amazing time at OSB or you couldn’t make it this time, we’ll be heading back to Columbus on March 5th-6th for the Arnold Dancesport Competition! Arnold is the biggest competition of the winter semester and we earn points there which will contribute to our score at OSB 2022. It’s the second weekend of Spring Break, so save the date and plan to get back from break early so you can dance with your teammates and see the Governator himself (yes, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be there!!!).
Just a few announcements for this week:
- No DTS this week Tuesday-Thursday
- No newcomer lesson this week: Have a relaxing break, we’ll resume our normal lesson and practice schedule next week 🙂
- OSB Gas receipts: Drivers, please submit your gas receipts to Liam ASAP (dliam) in order to be reimbursed for your gas. Thank you for driving!
- OSBingo: If your car participated in OSBingo, make sure you upload your photos in the Google Drive by December 1st so Lauren can tally the points and we can crown the winning car at our End of Semester party!
- Team closet: Please return all team closet items/other items borrowed from your team-mates as soon as possible after Thanksgiving to Tiffany. Please wash your items so they are ready for the next borrower!
- Hotels: Stay tuned for updates on paying for the hotels from this weekend!
- OSB wrap-up: See Lauren’s email on all the important post OSB info you’ll need :)
