Sleepy victors of OSB!
I hope everyone had a restful and relaxing Thanksgiving break! Even though our last competition of the semester may be over, we still have lots of fun and exciting events coming up in the next few weeks :)
Announcements for this week:
- OSB videos: Your wonderful Tech Chair Nathan has started uploading all the OSB videos, which you can find here! Watching your competition videos is a great way to learn how to improve for your next competition, plus you can show your friends and family how great you’ve gotten at dancing this semester :)
- OSBingo: If your car participated in OSBingo, make sure you upload your photos in the Google Drive by December 1st so Lauren can tally the points and we can crown the winning car at our End of Semester party!
- Team closet: Please return all team closet items/other items borrowed from your team-mates as soon as possible after to Tiffany. Please wash your items so they are ready for the next borrower!
- End of Semester Showcases: This year we will be hosting a showcase event on 12/12 at our last lesson of the semester!! If you are interested in showcasing please use this link to sign up! Everyone is encouraged to participate!! Whether you’ve only been dancing with us for a few months, or a few years, we would love to see you all at our last showcase event of the semester :)
- End of Semester Party: We’ll be having our annual end of semester party on Saturday December 11th. Make sure to mark your calendars for the big event, featuring food, a talent show, senior sendoffs, and more! Be on the lookout for an email from your amazing PR Chair Manasi with more information coming soon!
- Apparel Updates: Don’t forget to pick up your apparel! Our latest order will be coming in and available for pick up later this week, stay tuned for updates :)
Looking Further Ahead…
- Winter Tryouts: Tryouts for the winter semester upper level teams will be coming up early in January…stay tuned for more info coming soon!
- Mark your calendars for the Arnold! The Arnold Youth Dancesport Classic, the sister competition to OSB, will be March 5-6th, which is the last weekend of spring break. Not only is this competition as big and awesome as OSB, the points we earn from Arnold add on to our next OSB score, thus making it essential for defending our title next year! Be sure to arrange your spring break plans so you can dance for the Terminator himself, who makes an appearance every year in the ballroom!!!
