Happy New Year! Cheers to the new and better dancing we will all have this semester. I can’t wait to see you all soon. Our free lessons start this week so bring your friends and advertise on social media. Oh and don’t forget to tell Luna thank you for the amazing posters.
Special Announcements for Everyone:
- Dues: if you are trying out dues are due on the 11th of January and will be $65. If you are not trying out they are due on the 19th of January.
- Free lessons: They start on Sunday the 8th from 3-5 in the IMSB and follow our normal schedule except for the 15th which is from 12-2 pm.
- Showcases: Can’t get enough of showing your newfound dancing skills to other people? Sign up for our Winter ’22 Showcases! You get to show off to the new newcomers everything you’ve learned! Please fill out this form *here* by January 10th if you’d like to showcase with us!
- Comp schedule: In love with competing??? Get excited for the biggest competition of the Winter Semester: The Arnold Dancesport Classic on March 4-5, 2023! (This is the last weekend of spring break so start arranging plans early!) Help us earn points for next year’s OSB and also see the man himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger :) If you are interested in competing in more competitions, check *here* for the full competition schedule for next semester.
- Tryouts: They will be held on January 14th from 3-6 pm in the IMSB Multipurpose Room (up the stairs to the left). There will be more information coming your way closer to tryouts so keep an eye on your inbox if you want Steve and Susan to help you get wayyyy better than you are now! In the meantime, you must have a partner so start looking now click *here* for the winter 2023 partner search spreadsheet.
