Hi Team,
Happy Post OSB! I am so proud of everyone who went and competed or cheered their teammates on. Y’all did amazing and I have lost my voice from cheering so hard. I loved watching everyone dance and do absolutely spectacularly. You all inspire me and I am so sad this is my last OSB as the president :(
Announcements for Everyone:
- DTS and Lessons: DTS will be open on Monday and Tuesday of this week but will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday. In addition, there will be no newcomer lesson on Sunday the 26th but instead, there will be open practice space in the IMSB from 3-5 pm.
- OSB Receipts: Please send your receipts to Owen (ohoffend@umich.edu) as soon as possible to get reimbursed for gas costs. They need to be handed off by Tuesday, November 21st at 11:59 pm. No receipts, no reimbursements, no exceptions.
- Track Jackets: If you ordered a track jacket, you need to contact Erika to arrange a pickup time. Please reach out to her via email (erikabar@umich.edu) to find a time to hand them off.
- EOS Party: Our End of Semester party will be Saturday, December 9th at 8 pm in 2435 North Quad! Potluck and afterparty details to come so save the date and get ready!
- Ballroom Black Tie Formal Event: This will be happening December 10th from 5-9 pm. There will be food and the theme is black and white. More info to come!
- MichComp Committee: We host an amazing competition during the Winter semester, but in order to organize it, we need the help of you all! If you’re interested in joining the committee, please sign up here!
- Practice Space Schedule: The spreadsheet for space availability can be found here. It includes availability for IMSB Multipurpose Rooms A and B as well as the Ballroom Club schedule. The schedule can only be done two weeks in advance due to IM policies, so check back regularly. If the schedule is out of date, you may need to call and confirm specifics but the general availability is the same.
- Extra merch sale: We have a limited amount of extra merch from prior semesters that we are offering for sale! If you’d like another chance to drip yourself out in UMBDT gear for the start of the semester, please check out this spreadsheet to see what we have available. Email our treasurer, Owen Hoffend (ohoffend@umich.edu), if you’d like to buy something or if you have any questions.
