Hi Team,
I had so much fun with you all at the Black and White Ball today! I hope it was a refreshing break from the grind of exams. For those of you who haven’t been keeping up with the team, I’m taking over as President for Erika. She’s done a wonderful job and so much for the team; I have some big shoes to fill but I’m excited to get started. With that being said, it’s time to jump into my first WAG!
Announcements for Everyone:
- Team Closet: If you have borrowed anything from the team closet, please contact Johny (jonwdan@umich.edu) to return it. If you do not return what you’ve borrowed, you will not be able to go to EOS.
- MichComp Committee: We host an amazing competition during the Winter semester, but in order to organize it, we need the help of you all! If you’re interested in joining the committee, please sign up here!
- Feedback Form: Do you have any questions, comments, or concerns about the team? We want to hear from you! Let us know by talking to a board member or by using the team’s anonymous feedback form on our website. Anything you report to us is 100% confidential.
- Practice Space Schedule: The spreadsheet for space availability can be found here. It includes availability for IMSB Multipurpose Rooms A and B as well as the Ballroom Club schedule. The schedule can only be done two weeks in advance due to IM policies, so check back regularly. If the schedule is out of date, you may need to call and confirm specifics but the general availability is the same.
- Winter Gift Exchange: We are moving our gift exchange on Tuesday to DTS at 9:30 pm (instead of before DTS)! We are going to take one of the studios to quickly exchange some gifts and wishes before you can start dancing!
- Tentative Competition Dates: For next semester we will have several super fun competitions to attend! Here are some tentative dates: MSU Green and White Gala February 3rd, Carnegie Classic February 10th, Arnold March 2nd-3rd, Michcomp April 6th
