I hope everyone’s had an amazing first day of classes. I can’t wait to see you all out and about – and of course dancing. Juliana, get the meme ready because this is my first ever WAG.
- Free Newcomer Lessons – Our free lessons will again be held in the IMSB Multipurpose Room A on Sundays from 3-5pm and Thursdays from 9-11pm starting on August 28th – this Thursday! There is no DTS on Thursdays so everyone can come greet the newcomers at the free lessons. The last free lesson will be September 18th, followed by…
- Tryouts – Tryouts will be held from 3-5pm on Sunday, September 21st. This is during the normal newcomer lesson time, so there will be no newcomer lesson on that day. More information forthcoming.
- New Practice Space – Our long-time practice space, DTS, is moving to a new location outside of town this semester, so we will be moving to a new practice space in the Sports Coliseum in the coming weeks. We will still be practicing at DTS this week, but keep an eye on the schedule.
- Festifall – We will have a table at Festifall – Central on Wednesday from 4:30-6:00pm, though we’ll be there flyering for most of the day. Come out and support!
- Competition Interest Form – Who’s excited for another semester of competitions and, of course, winning OSB for the 20-something year in a row??? Please fill out the MBDT Fall 25 Competition Interest Form so we can get a rough estimate of competition attendance. This form is NON-BINDING, but please fill it out as accurately as you can.
- IU Cream and Crimson Classic – Our first competition of the semester will be the Cream and Crimson Classic on September 27, 2025! Emma (aka your amazing away comp chair) will be sending out an email early this week with more details.
- Partner Search – If you are looking for a partner for tryouts, look no further! Fill out your information in the partner search form right here and don’t be scared to reach out to someone on the spreadsheet. You can also ask a board member for help if you’d like.
- Liability Waiver – Fill out this Liability Waiver before attending newcomer lessons at the IMSB or practices at the Sports Coliseum.
- Google Calendar – we’ll be adding practices, competitions, social events, etc., to the team google calendar here.
