Hey everyone!
It’s been great to see you all at the first two newcomer lessons. Let’s get ready for Tryouts!
- Newcomer Lessons –Thursdays 9-11pm and Sundays 3-5pm at the IM. The first few lessons will be free, so invite your friends! See our flyer attached below. They’ll run through Thursday the 22nd, with a break for…
- Tryouts – We will be holding tryouts on Sunday January 18th from 3-5pm. This will replace the normal newcomer lesson. Make sure you fill out the signup form I sent BY WEDNESDAY! Also let us know if you’re still looking for a partner. Anyone who has already paid dues or intends on doing so can come watch!
- Leads and Follows – It’ll be held in the evening of 1/24. If you’re a senior or otherwise graduating within a year, sign up to choreograph the dance battle here.
- Help with recruitment! – We will be at Winterfest TODAY, January 12th, from 4-7pm at the Union. Come help us pass out flyers to recruit new members! We will be handing out flyers on the diag throughout the week as well, depending on the weather, so look out for GroupMe messages in the F25 Members Chat.
- Practice Space: See website for schedule. Here is the carpool signup sheet for the upcoming week.
- Other Competitions – Please fill out this competition interest form so we can get an idea of attendance for each comp. We highly recommend that you attend the Arnold Dancesport Classic during the 2nd weekend of spring break (March 7-8)! If you enjoyed OSB, you’ll want to attend this comp!
- MichComp – We’ll be holding our own competition next semester on March 21st at Skyline High School. Save the date!
- MichComp Committee – You should help us host our home comp next semester. Slides from meeting #1 found here, fill out THIS FORM to tell us what committee you want to be on, and fill out this NEW When2Meet to tell us when you’re available.
- Grad Photos – A local team alum does grad photos. See attached poster for more information.
