It’s the week before OSB! Start practicing those big dance floor frames and smiles!
A few OSB related announcements, but please keep your eyes peeled for crucial information that will be sent out later this week also!
- If you have not paid already, please do so by TONIGHT! If I were you I would go ahead and just pay on our website NOW! You can also pay by PayPal (select “paying friends and family”), venmo (@UMBDT), or cash/check to a board member.
- Traditionally, we all go out to Bucca di Beppo Saturday night of OSB for dinner! We have made reservations in advance, so please grab a spot at a table by this Wednesday at midnight by signing up on this google spreadsheet!
- Apparel will be arriving sometime this week. Saharsh will be in touch with times where you can come pick things up! *Note: it will be your responsibility to come pick things up, not his responsibility to meet you somewhere individually.
What’s happening this week:
Monday 11/16:
6:30pm – 9:30pm: Study night with UMBDT! Look out for an email no later than 6:00 tomorrow with exact location, hopefully North Quad!
7:00pm – 11pm: League Ballroom Open Practice Space
9:30pm – 11:30pm: DTS Open Practice Space. Ballroom Office Hours also, so come with your questions!
Tuesday 11/17:
7:30pm: OSB Dinner/Info Session at Amer’s. If you didn’t get a chance to attend the Saturday dinner, please come to this one to learn more about the details about OSB and walk into the whole experience feeling less overwhelmed.
7:30pm – 12am: League Ballroom Open Practice Space, with rounds from 9:30 – 10:30. Newcomers, don’t worry about not being able to attend these as there will be further opportunities in the week also.
9:00pm – 11pm: Newcomer lesson at the CCRB, taught by Josh and Michelle. This lesson will be focused on getting competition ready for OSB!
10:30pm – 12am: DTS Open Practice Space

Thursday 11/19:
9:00pm – 10:00pm: Newcomer lesson at the CCRB, taught by Daniel and Alison. This hour will be focused on getting competition ready for OSB.
10:00pm – 12am: CCRB 3275 Open Practice Space. Rounds from 10:30 – 12am.
NO DTS!
Friday 11/20:
Driving up to OSB! Rooms and rides will be released later this week — please be sure to contact your drivers in advance of departure.
Saturday 11/21 – Sunday 11/22
OSB or bust!
Sunday Club will still be operating as follows, and will be in the Union Ballroom this week:
