Hey everyone!
Steve and Susan moved on to waltz, quickstep, and samba today! These are difficult dances, so make sure to come to guided practice and then to Comp Prep Night to get ready for Arnold! We’ll also meet the C Team this week (see below)
- The Arnold: Emma has sent out registration information for Arnold. Please fill out our registration and Room and Ride request forms! They were due at midnight but you might still be able to do them if you ask Emma really nicely. We’ll be holding an Intro to Competitions night for all our new people on Tuesday 2/24.
- We are not holding any lessons or practices over spring break, so make sure to get your practice in while you’re away!
- MichComp Shoutouts – We will be having shoutouts in our program at MichComp! This is a great way to support your friends on the team! It consists of a message and an optional photo. You can/should also send this to your parents if they’d be interested. The cost is $20 per shoutout. If you’re interested, fill out this form by March 9th!
- Practice Space – Here is the carpool signup sheet for the upcoming week. Check the schedule on the website for details
- W26 Approved Teachers: We recommend asking for help regarding dance moves and technique from the couples approved by Steve and Susan to teach the newcomer lessons. See the list here.
- MichComp – We’ll be holding our own competition next semester on March 21st at Skyline High School. Save the date!
- The first wave of advertising was due on Saturday; you should have made final contact with each business in your section by the end of Spring Break!
- MichComp Committee – Our next meeting will be held online over spring break! Check the Michcomp Committe GroupMe to get proposed times from Nelly and Rachel.
