I hope everyone is having a wonderful and relaxing fall break! Read on for all the info on this week’s events:
- Corn Maze Social: our first October social is coming up this Friday (October 22nd), when we’ll be going on a trip to a spooOOooky corn maze! Bond with your fellow team mates by getting lost together 🙂 Currently we have more folks interested in going than cars to drive everyone, so if you have a car and can drive people please let us know on the form!! If there are not enough seats we will fill spots on a first come first serve basis! Confirmation of who all we will be able to accomdate taking to the maze will go out later this week, please hold off on paying for the maze until you are confirmed as going. Fill out the form here by 11.59pm on Tueday so we can organize rides to the corn maze. Entry to the maze will be $9 (payable to the team in advance, Venmo @UMBDT preferred, cash, check and PayPal also accepted), plus bring some extra cash with you on Friday if you want to buy any extra goodies! We’ll be leaving campus at 4:30 pm. Questions about the corn maze? Contact your wonderful PR Chair Manasi (manasia@umich.edu)!!!
- Emergency Contact Form: Please fill out this form if you are planning to go to competitions this semester! We will need this contact info to reserve vans so that we have enough room to take everyone to OSB :) If you have any questions about the form or competitions in general please contact our amazing Away Competition Chair Lauren (molloylg@umich.edu).
- Partner Search: Couldn’t make it to partner search or still looking for someone to dance with? Check out our Fall 2021 Partner Search Spreadsheet! Add your info and reach out to others on the sheet to find a potential dance partner. Inviting someone to practice or go to DTS is a great way to try out dancing with eachother :)
- Join our team Facebook group! It’s the hub of our community where we post event reminders and announcements during the week, as well as lost and found items, partner searches and much, much more! Check it out here, and just hit request access. (if you’re having trouble joining the group please contact ballroom-exec@umich.edu and we’ll sort it out).
- Shoe Vending: All order forms have been submitted to our shoe vendor. Stay tuned for more information regarding when and where to pick up shoes once they come in! Remember you must pay for your order before picking it up via Venmo, PayPal (friends and family!!), or cash. Please include your name and uniquename with the payment so that we can keep track of who has paid! Orders may be paid for before or at shoe pick-up.
- No DTS on Monday and Tuesday: DTS will be closed for fall break and will reopen Wednesday.
Upper-Level Tryout Teams:
- Team Intro Form: A and B team members please fill out this team intro form by 11:59 pm on Friday (10/22)!!! We will start introducing the teams in the WAG next week, so please fill out the form ASAP :)
Lost and Found: Please email ballroom-exec@umich.edu if any of these items are yours!
