Happy Sunday everyone! Great job to those who attended the Green and White Gala, and I hope you all got lots of rest. As usual, we’ve got lots of fun stuff lined up for this week including guided partner searches, increased practice space, and a trip to the corn maze! In an effort to cut down on emails, I will pull together events and reminders into our new Week at a Glance. Read on for details!


 

Monday 10/12: 

7:00pm – 12:00am: Open practice space in the Pendleton Room, Michigan Union.

9:30pm -11:30pm: Guided partner search at DTS, followed by dancing and breakdown of how to use DTS for newcomers. There will be no practice space in order to facilitate the partner search, so please utilize the Pendleton space listed above! 


 

Tuesday 10/13: 

7:00pm – 8:30pm: Blood Battle Variety Show in the Rogel Ballroom (Union). Our team members will be there showcasing alongside many other performing arts groups!

9:00pm – 11pm: Newcomer lesson at the CCRB. We will be reviewing tango, rumba, and mambo.

10pm – 12am: DTS Open Practice Space

12am: Purdue o2cm registration and rooms and rides form due!


 

Wednesday 10/14: 

9:30pm – 11:30pm: DTS Open Practice Space

12am: Application for committees due (see email from Josh for more details).


 

Thursday 10/15: 

9:00pm – 10:00pm: Newcomer lesson at the CCRB. We will be reviewing tango, rumba, and mambo.

10:00pm – 12am: CCRB 3275 Open Practice Space

10:00pm – 12am: DTS Open Practice Space


 

Friday 10/16: 

7:00pm: meeting to leave for the Corn Maze. Note: must have signed up in advance to attend.

For those who did sign up, an email with the schedule and details will be sent out this week. 


 

Saturday 10/17: 

1:30pm – 4:30pm: League Ballroom Open Practice Space

4:30pm – 6:30pm: Newcomer lesson in the Michigan League Ballroom. Steve and Susan will be teaching!


 

Sunday 10/18: 

No club lessons or open dance; due to fall break, university buildings will be closing early.
